Nice day to be a Slug!

What a contrast to last weeks hot, hot weather. Today, it poured with rain all day long!

Ethan had his usual gymnastics class, after which we went to the library to return some overdue books.

We then had a very quiet at home afternoon which has been most unlike us recently. From the look of the weather though, the only things which were enjoying being outside were all the slugs which appeared in our garden!

At dinner time we drove to Uddingston to pick up some ladders which hubbie had bought on Gumtree. Then over to the Foreveryoungs house to feed their cats. Only to discover that the set of keys which we thought were for their house ... aren't! So we had to leave cat food in a bowl outside! I hope the cats found it!

A late dinner at the Carvery was then calling us, which pleased Ethan as he loves going there. He didn't want to go to bed this evening, so it was yet another late bedtime by the time he stopped messing around.
