My 40th year

Princess J

I heard the girls in the sleepover room (3 mattresses laid across 2 bed bases) chattering at 7am and went in to read them the riot act. They slept until 9.30 then and India didn't wake up for another hour after that! It was a grey start to the day again so we went to the Warren Beach with Jennie and Lucy and all the kids. Nick met us down there on the boat with the doughnut ring attached, the kids squealed with excitement! Lucy and I babysat Heidi, Lydia and Hector so Jennie went on the boat for the first time. Whilst Lucy and I had both splashed out enthusiastically into waist high water to clamber over the back of the boat Jennie was unimpressed. Nick brought the boat so close to shore that only her toes got wet, Jennie looked very glamorous taking her little cardy along in case it was cold! They had a fabulous time zooming up and down the bay with all the kids taking turns on the doughnut.

As they pulled back into shore the kids all leapt off and swam in but Princess Jennie descended delicately into shallow water with every hair still in place to mine and Lucy's envious amazement!

Lucy and I leapt on the boat then to try out Lucy's new wakeboard, she was amazing and then we ran out of fuel so I had to postpone my wake boarding debut! We had a lovely sunny afternoon on the beach and went home to cook up a big barbie, Lexi is an honorary Worthington now so we didn't even need to ask if she was having a sleepover. Lucy, Jennie, Nick and I sampled vino until after 2am when Princess Jennie was deemed to be making no sense at all and escorted back to her 'van! Great night!
