Day 1: The tour begins

I've been traveling ever since the ripe age of one, so it's no wonder that I can't stay put! Today begins the first day of a 90-day world tour that will put me closer to my 50 (countries) by (age) 50 goal. To date, I've visited 26 countries and if all goes according to plan, I'll add at least another 12-13 to that count on this trip.

We woke up at 2:00am to begin the 16-hr drive to Mississippi. It hasn't quite hit me yet that I'm going to be unemployed and traveling the world for the next three months, but I'm sure that feeling won't last long :)
