wind of change?

Heat still sizzles in the fields
In August summer still yields
The sun shines to no regret
Wind sauntering 'til sunset

certainly felt like a change in the air today, especially this evening out walking. a cooler breeze, much welcomed. I suppose all good things must come to an end, but hopeful we can eek out a few more sunny days...until the end of September at least!!

took this shot with my new 7D (back up) camera, and wide angle lens. In the distance, I could see the cooling towers at Ratcliffe on Soar Power Station.

now off to enjoy a nice glass or two of rose Rioja, and make the most of the fading sunshine....
