When we first arrived in this area two and hold years ago, with no place to live, we stayed in a 'residence' in Divonne les Bains. It was a near a smallish lake that has a wide walking, cycling, roller blading path all the way round. Although we often walked round the lake we never got round to hiring one of the multi- person cycles!

Today some visiting friends and I spent the da in Divonne and hired a cycle! No gears and a slightly warped wheel made sure that less frequently used muscles were exercised!! It was a warm day and we sat outside this evening eating a raclette. Hopefully fireworks still to come.....
