Slow Train to Scarborough

We're on our way to Scarborough for a few days and missed the fast train (change at York) from Sheffield.
So in our in infinite wisdom decided to take the direct slow train.
Not the best idea although it was good to see the Humber bridge and what looked to be a cathedral rising out of a housing estate in Wetherby.
