Caffè macchiato

A coffee for one euro in Florence! An amazing discovery, complete with a heart! We had some excellent meals, I was especially excited about the bacon and eggs for breakfast, although I didn't want to be rude and refuse the chocolate croissants either. Dinner was local and seasonal - pasta with boar sauce, a first for me and definitely to be recommended. In the midst of all the scoffing it was great to go to the Uffizi and see so many people admiring the generous curves of Botticelli's ladies!
