New life out of the fallen
Sunny day with occasional showers.
We had a good Worship Service in the morning. After Lunch, we went out for a walk and a hunt for some geocaches. This time we were on a Public Footpath and found two caches but not the third. When we started out it was warm and sunny and I came across this fallen tree trunk with wild Montbretia growing around it and, if you look closely, some buds sprouting out of the trunk.
We could see the signs of localised rain falling over in Fife but were fairly sure it was heading our way - and sure enough, it did. We were able to shelter under some trees for five minutes until the rain passed over and the sun shone again.
I have to say that I am feeling the benefit of these relatively short walks, combining geocaching and Blip.
Looking forward now to the Closing Ceremony of the Games - at least there will be real singers, unlike the Opening Ceremony. The Games have been most enjoyable and have been a wonderful advert for Glasgow and the rest of Scotland.
