Keep rolling...

An early start this Sunday to watch the cycling road race and make the most of the last day of the Commonwealth Games. This was Scotland's Katie Archibald coming round Park Circus. She eventually finished a respectable 7th.
The women managed to stay pretty dry during their race, but the men didn't have as much luck. We walked into the city centre and watched their first lap on Trongate before the heavens opened and we hid out in the Old Fruitmarket and watched it on the big screen. Just when we thought it was safe to go outside and have a wander around the Merchant City festival, the rain came on again heavier than ever so we ran back inside! Eventually made it to London Road for the final lap to cheer on the leaders and the rest of the pack before walking home.
Planning to watch the closing ceremony tonight and feel sad that it's all over! Glasgow has done us proud
