Biggest bookfair in Europe?

This annual bookfair (or book market? ) in the town Deventer is regarded the biggest one in Europe, I'm not sure if it really is. It had over 875 stalls with secondhand books and comics. It is nicely situated both in town centre and along the river, a total of 6 km of stalls.

Today was my first visit. I went over there with a colleague and we met up with an ex colleague of ours who moved away to live in Deventer. We had coffee and Blueberry buckle at her house before we set out.

In town we met up with another colleague who joined us for about an hour. The three of us strolled along the stalls from about 11 pm till 4 pm Though warm, the temperature was manageable. We had a super day!

I only bought four books, which is very reasonable, don't you think? ;-)

We saw people logging along trolleys or hauling backpacks to store their purchases.
