Meet my new friend!

This little fellow is a two month old Peregrine Falcon who a few minutes before had been dive bombing Jinxy and me and screeching his head off before flying back to a person some way off, who I could see was swinging a lure and trying to get him to come back.

After he had recaptured it I went over and he apologized for the birds behavior and kindly let me photograph him. While his hood was on he was nice & quiet but as soon as it was removed he started screeching again

He was born in captivity and as yet not been named and the owner is teaching him to come back when called. What a treat to be able to see such a wonderful bird up so close.
