Busy!

Edinburgh was much busier today I imagine with more festival visitors and performers. Lots of them walking slowly in front of me as I tried to zoom to the train station after work. I had to do the "people as a maze" thing dipping in and out and around. Lots of people in matching tshirts and hoodies and some in costumes too and I wasn't even near the Royal Mile.

As I walked up to the station a young girl (I guess maybe 13/14) with two other girls shouted "ned" at me. I have never been referred to as a ned in my life- I think I might even be too old to be one now! It was definitely me she shouted at though. How odd. I was in jeans and gutties. No tracksuit and no sunhat.
