Sunset over Mjällom harbour
Another day spent working on Lotta, our dilapidated wooden folkboat. Directly opposite the hole in the deck we fixed a couple of days ago was another patch of rotted deck and a little digging with a knife soon created another hole, which we duly fixed. Now there is some base coat on the deck and all the picking, scraping and sanding is done with, apart from a small patch at the stern of the boat.
I also modified the positioning of the automatic pump so there will be even less water in the boat.
At the end of the day we were VERY tired and around 9 in the evening we took a few photos and then headed for home!
My blip shows the sun creating cloud shadows as it sets behind Mjällom mountain.
We were too tired to swim so it was straight home to a shower, a G&T, and a packet of cheesy grisini - here's nothing like a balanced diet.
