Poppy and Hover Fly

This was nearly today blip as it was the most obvious thing in the garden as I hirpled around.

However, the fern grabbed my attention and being a bit rough round the edges almost summed up how I feel today.

But the delicate nature of the poppy won the day for several reasons.......delicate rather than rough is probably a better description of how my knee feels - the hover fly looks similar to the bastard wasps that got me in this state and also taking the shot was more of a challenge due to having to try and balance on one leg, lean forward from the waist and focus
