Lords and ladies, cuckoo pint or up to a hundred other names. Mildly poisonous to humans and animals but the flies don't mind! It's not a strangely shaped fly, there's a grub behind it.

Yesterday my landline stopped working. The same thing happened a couple of weeks ago and it took nearly a week for them to repair it. I hope that it's quicker this time - a pay as you go mobile works out really expensive.

Last night there was a water leak under my washing machine although it wasn't on. A friend came to look at it today and machine and the plumbing appeared to be fine. A mystery random fault is never good!
