An orphaned family

This little family were orphaned in 2009 when the eldest boy was only 14 and the youngest was 7. They have managed to stay together in their parents home, supported by a project called Mosaic Vision who have paid school fees and provided school uniforms and health care.
Our team visited their home to build a drying rack which provides somewhere for dishes, bowls, cups and cutlery after being washed up. It was only a 2 hour visit and a simple task at a cost of £30 or thereabouts. But it was such a humbling experience to meet them, to see their beautifully swept compound and see the way they worked together to survive, with dignity.
And I think, that somehow, our visit meant a lot to them too.
