Garden Lily

I bought several of these Garden Lilies from a well known supermarket for half price (£1) and they are giving a beautiful display in the borders now that a lot of the flowers have finished. We had a little rain overnight and I liked how the rain drops on their flower heads were glistening in the early morning sunshine.
Rain is forecast again overnight so I've just spent over 2 hours mowing the grass, deadheading and trimming back some of the vigorous growth on the Winter Flowering Jasmine. I feel that it's such a chore to cut the grass but boy, does it look good when it's done and was well worth the effort.
