Kingfisher
Lottie slept on my bed last night, but I slept badly waking every hour, owing I think to my neck hurting from a recent strain. (I'm now taking painkillers which are helping. ) At 5am she woke me and wanted to go out. As I stood waiting by the back door bleary-eyed in the half light, L came down bright as a daisy so I left Lottie to him while I slept walked back to bed. She did come back into my room after though, which was gratifying.
Work was fine. I left at 12.30pm to meet C and Teddy having completely forgotten a lunch date and so I had to apologise to my friend. Luckily she is very forgiving.
C, Teddy and I met in a car park near the river at Wolverton Mill and went for a lovely walk, stopping frequently to give C a breather as she is heavily pregnant now and as we walked I spotted a kingfisher flying right along the river by us. (Shame I did not have my camera out as it flew by, though I am sure I'd never have captured it). We also stopped a while in the bird hide to watch the swan and cygnets in the reeds. It really was a super way to spend an afternoon. S has been offered a new job, which is encouraging for him and they are really excited about the new house and new baby etc..
We then had a cup of tea and more cuddles at mine and I saw the GP, who advised me to stay on the anti depressants for a while longer even though I explained I am feeling loads better and am making lots of changes for the better, so I've taken his advice.
I dashed into MK for two maps of West Pembrokeshire for my holiday and then arrived back to find a casserole on the go for tea. Yum.
