You Looking at Me?

In need of some head space - too much to do and my focus kept disappearing - so wandered down to the Big Pond Community this afternoon with a colleague. We counted the ducklings - still 10 of them - checked there were still 3 coot chicks and had a chat with the swans and cygnets as well as the ducks. Collected some swan feathers and headed back in to the office - feathers tucked behind our ears. So two of us cygnet/duckling/coot chick obsessed now - looking out of the window to check on the BPC. Normal day at work ...

On my way home I called by the other BPC as head still buzzing. The cygnets at this pond are a few weeks ahead of the BPC at work - and several of them showed of their developing wings. I managed to get a picture of this, and one of the swans getting very huffy with a dog. The geese - who were avoiding the swans - came up to me to say hello and this goose seemed very interested in the camera.

I get the feeling that all my blips this week might be bird themed.
