Look how they've grown

I can't believe how these birds have changed in just three days. They are much more alert, looking around at every sound.. You can see the red and white feathers forming and you can tell they are swallows now.
The adult birds are continually flying in to feed them and this can be up to 4oo times a day, not that I've counted. They do seem to stop when it rains though which we have had today.

The morning was nice until after lunch so I planted up some hanging baskets with the violas Mike bought me yesterday. The rain came down quite heavily, typical as it's the Black Isle Show, Horses today with the main event tomorrow.
