Day one

All change today. My patients will now be women and new born babies, I am a GP trainee and no longer a junior doctor, I get back (most) evenings and weekends and my commute is only 10 minutes now! I'm excited about the challenges to come and wishing all of the new junior doctors, including my good friend Maria, all of the very best as they begin their careers! I remember how scared I was before I started but the last two years have flown by and ultimately been a brilliant foundation to clinical practice.
