Wednesday: At The End Of The Film
It was/is my birthday today so I was enticed out this evening, in K.'s absence, by Maki and Niks who insisted that I go and see a film with them and then join them for dinner.
I was very happy to and it has been a lovely evening all round. We started off at the excellent Kino Europa, probably Zagreb's best art-house cinema, where we went to see 'Hannah Arendt', a bit of a reference to a standing joke that I spend a lot of time watching German films with no subtitles, while K. is away. It was an excellent film - quite heavy because of the subject matter - but brilliantly acted, particularly by Barbara Sukowa in the lead.
This was followed by sushi - they had no idea, in suggesting it, that sushi is one of my favourites!
