Just Makes You Shake Your Head Sometimes...

Did the world just start falling apart last week? Or have I been too blind to notice?

Today: one of our neighbours was burgled. Opportunist strike, in and out of a back window in seconds. The fly tipping has started again. In the park, we spotted three different groups with carry outs. Oh, and apparently some of the residents of the DSS hotels are now using Queen's Park boating pond as a bath. We watched as one of them walked straight across, churning up god knows how much mud, while his girlfriend paddled along nearby. Their kid scampered enthusiastically along the side of the pond. Later we saw him heading back to the bedsit hotel, in shorts and socks.

I could go on but I won't. Just too depressing. At least the swans were being left alone today.
