Dun Caan

The plants in the cultivated part of Applegate garden are becoming established, the wild garden is showing signs of late summer and in the distance is Dun Caan is the highest point on the Isle of Raasay, a very distinctive flat-topped summit, volcanic in origin. As we explore Skye we often see it and it provides a good reference point.
