Jailbreak!!

Ssshhhhhh.....don't tell anyone!

Busted hubby out of the hospital today :) For less than 2 hours. But it felt great - for us both.

He had a few more tests this morning, but has been feeling fine since Tuesday and we'd hoped he would be discharged today.

No such luck. Tomorrow, though... we've been promised. He needs to start some meds for an infection they found and schedule surgery to remove his gallbladder within a couple months, but otherwise he's cleared for take off :)

Since his IV was out, as was the sun, we saw no reason to not disappear walk in the hospital park for a bit when I went by to visit after work.

[I brought him home to see the kids - then he grabbed some fresh clothes and jumped on a computer to pay some bills. We quickly delivered building plans to a contractor before returning him to his prison hospital ward.] It almost felt like normal life again for a bit.

Thank you all for the kind words - as you can see he's quite all right and will be home in the morning :)
