Goosanders and mallard 2

Back to the old bird-blips today! I spent a couple of hours updating my CV and trying to contact someone running a site in England, where they are excavating Medieval skeletons. Then down to the library,via the Water of Leith walkway.

Saw three goosander (Mergus merganser) drakes and a single female, among the mallards (Anas platyrhyncos) Saw the same combination of species in October.
