Two Mike Gattings
I spent the day at the test match, between England and India, at Old Trafford. I wondered whether to take my big camera with a heavy telephoto lens to get lots of excellent shots of the action. Sorry folks, I decided instead to take my G15, travel light and just enjoy the day. This blip was taken in the lunch interval, fortified with a peppery Cornish pasty and a pint of Thwaites Wainwright.
If anyone is curious, Mike Gatting is a former captain of England and a renowned trencherman. After my own heart. Some other shots of cricket
Soon afterwards, Stuart Broad took 6 wickets to bowl out India for 152.
The stadium is developing with the approval of Lancy and under other watchful gaze.
