Chicken balls

For a few pesos as you walk along the street you can stab a wooden fork into a bubbling vat of fish and chicken balls, and keep hunger at bay. As if hunger ever needs to be kept at bay in the Philippines.

It wasn't a five-year old child manning this bubbling vat solo, just to be clear. I don't condone child labour when eating chicken balls.
