Still life

This is my Foody Friday August Challenge Blip.

Slimming World has changed my life - one of the things I now do is eat loads more fruit and I have learnt to eat whole grapefruits like an orange! I have also discovered how different supposedly identical fruits can taste - for examples cherries and strawberries vary tremendously - not from each other you understand but from different batches of the same fruit! Melons have also proved strangely enlightening!

These all count as free foods for Slimming World, in fact some of them are super free foods and the eating of them is to be encouraged for snacks and as part of meals. Interestingly, once you cook or puree fruit, it is no longer free. The same does not apply to vegetables - you can make those into soup or do anything with them.
