Well it is my birthday :-)

A lovely morning pottering about home and test driving both the new garden bench and the new laptop. Skipped lunch after a late breakfast in bed and instead had afternoon tea in York. We did a quick tour of Clifford's Tower - which much to my shame I had never been in before.
And this is our resting place for tonight. We've had lunch here a few times but never stayed before.
Tomorrow it's back to reality (which, don't get me wrong, I love) but tonight it's living the life of luxury.
