The morning after the night before

Who would have believed we had such a storm last night? A beautiful day today.
This is the Middlethorpe Hall Hotel from the South Lawn. The gardens are really lovely.
We did a stop at Goddards on the way home, another National Trust house and garden. It used to be their HQ regionally and it's only in the last 2 years it has been open to the public.
The former home of the Terry family of chocolate fame - arts and crafts with another splendid garden.
Ah well home again. Only 364 days to the next one :-)
