Pickering Castle

We were very taken with Pickering Castle, which was built by William the Conqueror, and although a ruin shows very well how a traditional castle was structured and then improved through time. 'M' was very taken with it. Pickering is very lucky to have steam trains and a castle! This is our last day and we will be travelling back to Edinburgh tomorrow.
