Morning Reflections

We got out of the house early this morning about 7:30, put the 3 pups in the car, and drove the mile or so to the beach parking lot at the south end of this little town. Then we walked and walked and walked.

There were very few people on the beach and the ocean was enormous and lovely. Because we were out in the cool of the morning, the pooches did not get worn-out quite so quickly so we walked further than usual.

We looked at many of the prints in the sand--horse hooves, dog paws with sharp toe nails, and human feet -- some naked and some in sneakers. Everyone leaving footprints in the sand.

The high tide in the last day or so has left an inland pool of water far from the shoreline. Mr.Fun and the pups walked over to see it and I followed them and that's when I saw the reflection in the pool. Houses floating on the water.
