Le Bassin aux Nympheas

Today we set off to Giverny to visit Claude Monets house and gardens. We had a lovely walk around the gardens and house and also the pretty village of Giverny. Once again we were very lucky with the weather. However, it was very busy with tourists ~ blooming tourists lol!!!
I have always enjoyed Monets paintings and I was thrilled to see the lily pond and Japanese bridge (full of those blooming tourists!!!) often depicted in his paintings.
