The Bridge
"We are always the same age inside."
Gertrude Stein
Life Drawing al fresco was nearly interrupted by showers today, but we carried on regardless and the shower soon passed, obviously realised we weren't to be deterred.
Wonderful way of spending a few hours, getting dirty smudging charcoal onto paper in the company of like minded, errr, artists. Buzzards were soaring above and on the return journey I caught a glimpse of a par of Red Kites just outside Abergavenny - not seen them around here before.
Farmers were getting in the hay bales from the surrounding fields and several small groups of walkers and fruit pickers in the adjacent fields, much to the consternation of our model. And when a bridal party stopped outside the gates and started videoing our foray into the grounds was nearly curtailed.
