Here be Dragons

It was only when I started post processing that I noticed the "smoke" from the Dragons nostrils, and yet for me it makes the image.

Managed to make progress in the Studio today, fixed up the [new] ceiling lights; when the plasterer had finished the skimming there was no sign of the ceiling plates for the existing fittings, so it had to be new fittings. Finished wiring them up just in time to get changed for D and C's ruby wedding anniversary celebration.

Timing is everything; as we arrived at the cricket club so did some of K's contacts, carrying a strawberry pavlova..... know who I'm sitting with. As it turned out they did join us to eat and pass away a few very enjoyable hours. With plenty of delicious food and equally enjoyable company the afternoon passed so quickly.

During the afternoon D showed me a photo on his mobile - they'd had a tree cut down and the stumps had been carved into this delightful Dragon. As obsessive as ever I asked if I could photograph it for my Blip for the day, fortunately they agreed!. I had to get in quick between the showers. Five minutes later it was overcast and raining [heavily] again.
