Estate Sale...

The Fabulous MammoWarriors (that's Deb and Jody there!) came together today to help Marnie (one of the Warriors) have a huge Estate Sale. She has sadly sold the family home here and after more than 30 years of her parents accumulation - the best thing was to have a big sale. We had a party last night with first dibs and i got a very interesting lamp, which i reckon is probably over 150 years old! It was once an glass oil lamp, with beautiful brass fittings etc...and now it's an electric light! it'll look great in my office/studio/nap place!!!

The sale was advertised to open at 9 am.....by 8.30 there was a huge crowd gathered and they were held back till 9! What a sight it was - the mad dash to scoop up the best bargains! I think most of the stuff was sold and 40% of the takings is being donated to our MammoWarrior team!
