Emerging

One of these mornings when the sun woke me, dragged me out of bed and had me hanging out of the window with my phone taking photos of the wonderfully dissipating clouds and mist as the sun rose over Gourock. I'm not wakened quite so early these days as at the end of June, when the sunrise was further to the north and woke me some time around 5am, but it was still a tad early for me to do more than pull a curtain across and go back to sleep for an hour ...
