I Found One!
A bench like this, that is!
I hate this photo though, I may change it later. I woke up feeling tired after a late night last night. Then worked for several hours doing usual chores, and cleaning my entire house! Felt a sense of satisfaction when it was done, but also desperate to escape!
I had an impromptu evening out in London with a friend. She's actually one of my oldest friends, and we have known each other since we were at nursery school, aged 2 1/1yrs, and we are now 30! We went to a lovely pub on Southbank, and then I persuaded/coerced her into venturing into Soho to go to the Dutch pub with me...
We had a good natter all the way there, and it gave me another opportunity to test out my newly acquired directional skills! Truth be told (and my friend knew this), I knew my friends were out and about here and I suspected guy friend was with them. I was really nervous when I got there, but there was no sign of them. I was sort of relieved and disappointed at the same time. We had a drink, and it was good, but the pub wasn't the same without him. Sigh. When will this get easier?
We walked back to Waterloo. It was cold and windy- typical August in England! We had such a good catch up. It felt good to be able to explain what happened when I panicked in London when we last met, but she said completely understood. See blip
Friendships are very important. And I am thankful I have some great ones.
