Today's the day ......................... to light the fire

Yes, I know - it's quite ridiculous to be doing that in the middle of August. It wasn't even all that cold really.

It just seemed that way because it was dull and rainy - and I suppose I've got used to having nice weather. And I was bored and knew that I should be doing all those tedious things that I've promised myself I will - when the sun isn't shining. I tried to cheer myself up with a picture of this vibrant pink double Japanese Anemone var. Pamina but even that looked a bit deflated in the rain.

Oh well - nothing for it - I'll just have to curl up in front of the now lit fire - and read my book ..........................
