Our final sunset in Mallorca

Feeling a bit sad today as we're driving Martin to the airport. He'll be back in HK on Sunday and we'll follow suit on Tuesday.

It's been good to be in Europe and appreciate its architecture and delicious food and yummy wine/liqueurs. It was also good to have a holiday with other members of the family. A first time for us, as far as I can remember anyway. Has anyone else tried that?? My cousin and I sat together in a plane for the first time when we flew out Mallorca! That was a special treat.

The boys and I drove around Palma for a bit looking for the car rental place, which was a bit off the beaten track. Thankfully we managed and will be prepared better tomorrow when we fly back to Germany.

I enjoyed having the boys all to myself and we decided that we wanted to have one last tapas meal out by the sea, which we did and then walked around the dreaded tourist spots for some last minute shopping in Cala Ratjada.

Got home for a swim in the pool with the girls. We bought a lilo for the pool and all the kids had loads of fun with that and just general pool games.

A final dinner on the terrace and then Uno for the rest of the evening.

It's going to be sad leaving tomorrow after a very nice family time. I shall miss Mallorca and driving and of course the warm, loving hospitality.
