Old Photos

We found a box of old photos in the garage, pre-digital prints from our first decade or so together. And a while ago I got a frame from John Lewis that I never got round to filling up and hanging. So this afternoon (while it tipped it down with rain) it seemed like a good idea to put these two things together.

I was particularly pleased to find the one in the middle, with Ann and me looking down into the camera lens... story behind that is: Ann dropped the camera on a hard floor (was attached to her belt while she answered the call of nature) and thought it had been damaged. So this is us looking to see if the shutter mechanism was still working OK. We didn't know for sure until we got the prints back in the post when we got home...
