Bit of a flap
Epic fail day.
Planned to photograph the rising super moon over the sea, planned with The Photographer's Ephemeris, right time right place. Bank of cloud so no moonrise.
V. V windy so took some atmospheric pics of gulls being blown over in the ex-Bertha wind, flag etc. and went home.
Went out when 'super moon' had risen over the clouds. Not particularly super at all and still can't work out how to expose for bright moon.
Oh, Perseids today too, perhaps I could capture loads of those. Sky quite bright, very windy very cloudy. May have got one, but not sure and it is desperately unimpressive.
So here's the flag.
And no it's not camera shake, it was on the tripod and I was leaning on that. The pole was bending a couple of feet in the wind.
