It's all in the presentation.....

....I was learning today about the power of presentation in Marketing. Couldn't help but feel that my lack of a tie and pointy shoes doesn't quite fit with the corporate power image expected of Marketing executives. I go more for shabby chic, or is it just shabby?

Walking past the local Chinese cafe at lunchtime, I think they've gone for the functional look with their frontage.

Met my first example of politiking in the new job today. I'd sent out a write-up of a meeting where people who had been asked to, were open and honest in stating their views on a subject. A colleague in London sent it on to some people he knew he shouldn't be sharing it with, by Blind Copying them into the note. Unfortunately for him, they replied to everyone. Stuff of nonsense really, but not good for trust.
