A walk in the woods

This morning was spent sorting home paperwork, a job I have been meaning to do for ages. This afternoon I needed to get out so persuaded the gang to go for a quick walk in the woods. We were very lucky as it was dry for our walk but the minute we got in the car to come home the rain thundered down.

Now I am halfway through making pickled cucumber from the surplus in the tunnel. I have never made it before but I do like these type of things in the winter.

I liked the simplicity of this shot and the colour provided by the wellies and top. I also like the way the path curves around. The woods are looking quite autumnal and I need to remind myself that it's still only August.
