The storm within.......

....well, more aptly within the storm!
I went to Avoca Beach for sunset this evening in order to scout the location ahead of a dawn shoot, hopefully later in the week, when the tide conditions should be favourable.
As we arrived the storm front rolled in. There was a beautiful full rainbow arc.
Daughter ran up and down the beach a few times whilst I got reasonably well soaked moodling about with taking photos. Rainwater on those filters is a P.A.I.N!
I love that the light within a storm front is so unpredictable. I love that it bounces off everything and ordinary elements acquire a lovely glow.
It was a fab end to a busy work day.
...........Note to self......I NEED to find a better solution to wet weather photography.
The leg of lamb was taking care of itself in the slow cooker......our new favourite dinner.
Family dinner, listening to the highlights of everyone's day. The boys enjoyed their school athletic carnival.

Dry and warm at last....tick
