Not a BBQ??!!

Sometimes Ann lies to me…………………. She tells me bit fat lies and gets me all excited about things we are going to do………………….. and then she lets me down!!!

Last night she told me what we were going to do today………………….

…………….She said, ‘Molly, tomorrow evening we are going to meet Nell, the pug, and the little people, at Porthminster Beach at 5pm for a BBQ.’

I love BBQs. At BBQs I sit right in front of humans and give them my ‘appealing look’ and I always manage to get little bits of burger. Burgers are very yummy.

But do you know what happened today?............................. Ann came home from work at 2pm and said, ‘Molly, my weather app is showing rain at 6pm so I think we’ll give the BBQ a miss. I’ll take you for a run on the dunes now and then you can stay home alone for a couple of hours while I go to the 'Balcony Bar' for a burger.’

I was a bit cross because I’m allowed in the 'Balcony Bar' and the burgers there are delicious. But Ann said it would be too busy for me and I wouldn’t like it???

…………….So I’ve had to stay home alone and have my normal dry food for dinner while Ann has been out and had a scrummy, yummy, chilli burger with cheesy chips.

Sometimes life just isn’t fair???!!!

PS – Ann’s weather app was wrong again. It’s a beautiful evening!
