Idol Worship?

I'm not sure how many viewers tune into American Idol this season. In 2007 it was over 57.6 Million. Tens of thousands of hopeful performers sing their hearts out in auditions across the country with the dream (or dilusion) of becoming the next American Idol. Simon Cowell is about to keep someones dream alive and send them to Hollywood or break their heart and send them home.

This is on in the background while Peggy and I are doing (or attempting to do) our homework. A mixed bag of amazing talent and singers that are so incredibly horrible that one gets the feeling that it is staged.
