'Now the Day is Over'

The stormy weather over the past two days seems to be passing...but the skies today were marvellous! This evening P and I had a really nice walk up to the Long Man of Wilmington......we then turned right and followed a chalky path to a good viewing point for a possible sunset. My camera didn't really cope that well with it....I took 162 photos in the two hours we were up there...but the light wasn't that good. The Combine harvester was working away cutting the crops until 7.30pm....making great compositions for Blip. It was SO windy at the top and cold...my fingers went dead. But it was magical to watch the sunset...and still enough light for us to get back down by 9pm.

Today we heard the sad news from America that the brilliant actor Robin Williams has died. I feel very sad about this......depression is a terrible thing!
He leaves behind a legacy of wonderful films and will always be remembered.
