Sacred Heart

The local parish church was also the home of the scout troop I spent a good deal of my youth a member of. The hall at the back of the church has since been demolished and the scout troop disbanded due to falling numbers (I hate weans whining "theres nothing to do..."). The place was once a very vibrant hub of the local catholic community, even that is in decline. So are the church and scouts a relic of the past, I'd like to think the second has a vibrant future. I got a hell of a lot out of the scouts.
